À son sens, la conception univociste de l’étant mène à la neutralisation de l’être et à la suppression de la nature analogique de la pensée. Spécialiste de Platon dont il proposa une interprétation originale, il s’évertua à restaurer une conception de la philosophie comprise comme mytho-logie, c’est-à-dire comme l’alliance récit mythique et de la raison logique. De ce point de vue, l’analogie se trouve être précisément le ressort de la poursuite du mythos au sein même du logos. The philosopher Jean-François Mattéi never ceased to combat the nihilism of the deconstructivist philosophers from his dissertation L’étranger et le simulacre defended in 1979 and published in 1983 up to his final work, L’homme dévasté, which appeared posthumously in 2015. In his view a univocal concept of beings leads to the neutralisation of being and the suppression of the analogical nature of thought. As a specialist on Plato, whom he interpreted in an original way, he did his utmost to restore a view of philosophy understood as mytho-logy, that is to say, as an alliance of a mythological account and logical reason. From this point of view analogy appears to be precisely the starting-point of the pursuit of a mythos in the heart of logos. |
