Y para no perderla, buscamos interpretarla a partir de otras relaciones, de otras aproximaciones y mediaciones más ajustadas a nuestro tiempo. Se trata de una palabra crítica y comprometida con las personas sin aceso a derechos, y en especial a las mujeres. Es también una palabra que brota de nuestras vidas en sus múltiples expresiones y se mezcla desde el pasado al presente y al futuro en una creativa interdependencia. I believe that for those of us who embrace feminism and Christian tradition in the 20th and 21st centuries, the salto vital – vital leap – means that in the midst of the enormous turbulence of our time, we have the possibility of expressing our feminist position regarding a religious tradition transmitted in patriarchal codes, and this possibility we do not want to give up. In order not to lose it, we seek to interpret our Christian tradition from other points of view and mediate it according to different approaches in a form more adjusted to our time. It is a critical position, committed to people deprived of rights, especially women. It is also a position(ing) that emanates from our lives in their multiple expressions and draws from the past to the present and the future in creative interdependence. Ich glaube, für diejenigen unter uns, die den Feminismus und die christliche Tradition des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts wertschätzen und leben, ist es ein salto vital, ein Qualitätssprung, dass wir inmitten der gewaltigen Turbulenzen unserer Zeit die Möglichkeit haben, feministische Positionen bezüglich einer, in patriarchalen Strukturen überlieferten, religiösen Tradition zu formulieren. Das wollen wir nicht aufgeben. Und so versuchen wir, diese unsere christliche Tradition auf andere Beziehungen hin und von anderen Ansätzen her mit neuen Sichtweisen, die unserer Zeit angemessener sind, zu interpretieren. Es ist eine kritische Position, die Menschen verpflichtet ist, die keine Rechte haben, insbesondere Frauen. Es ist auch eine Position, die aus unserem Leben in seinen vielfältigen Ausdrücken entspringt und in der sich in einer kreativen Wechselbeziehung Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft mischen. |
