Cette reconstitution conduit à une interprétation théologique et une réception critique qui démontrent que la christologie a encore du travail devant elle. This article offers a reconstruction of the historical events leading up to the first ecumenical council in Nicaea in 325, based on an analysis of contemporary documents and focusing on the theological debates surrounding the concept of the begetting of the only-begotten Son of God, which is considered to be a major issue at the council. This reconstruction leads to a theological interpretation and a critical reception that demonstrate that Christology still has work to do. |
