Abstract :
Based on a careful analysis of colophons of some Georgian manuscripts from the Greek Patriarchate in Jerusalem, C. Lerner concludes that the author of one of the colophons of the famous Chelishi manuscript containing the story of the Conversion of Kartli (now Tbilisi, H-600) was a monk, scribe and binder, active in the Georgian monastery of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem around 1250 AD.
