It questions the authenticity of the illustrations identified in the mentioned article as a 14th-century production of Cilician Armenia and argues for a later provenance on the basis of codicological and art historical analysis. The conclusive observations highlight the necessity of laboratory analyses which are able to offer sufficiently precise answers to the questions raised here. |
