Revisiting Tarski’s hierarchy’. This special issue follows a conference held in 2016 at the Université catholique de Louvain in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium on this topic and with the same title. In this introduction we mention the main objectives of the conference and the special issue. We explain which questions are raised by the distinction between object language and metalanguage on the one hand and by the distinction between object logic and metalogic on the other hand. |
