C’est ce que nous étudierons dans la perspective du Modèle des valeurs tel que développé par le psychologue-clinicien Yvon Saint-Arnaud. Trois concepts sous-tendent cette approche: le processus, le noeud et le Bien Le Plus Recherché (BLPR). La mise en relation de ces trois composantes, tirées du verbatim biographique d’un Sujet nommé Alex, permet d’identifier sa dynamique psychospirituelle. L’analyse d’un second verbatim, portant sur une situation de rupture communautaire vécue par Alex, permet de montrer les correspondances de cette dynamique dans son expérience d’affiliation et de désaffiliation. Finalement, en suivant les déplacements du processus, du noeud et du BLPR, nous pourrons suivre l’évolution de la dynamique psychospirituelle d’Alex à travers cette expérience importante de sa vie. In this discussion, we propose a strategy for including a consideration of spirituality within an exploration of the human psyche. We base our approach on a values-analysis model devised by clinical psychologist Yvon Saint-Arnaud. Three concepts underlay this model: process, node and the concept of Fundamental Value. By applying these three concepts to an analysis of the verbatim of a biographical interview with a subject named Alex, we were able to develop an understanding of the psycho-spiritual dynamics of this individual. Analysis of a second interview with the same individual, focusing this time on his experiences during the breakdown of a faith-based community, provided a basis for defining matches between Alex’s personal psycho spiritual dynamics and his experiences of affiliation and disaffiliation from the group. Finally, following the movements of the process, node and Fundamental Value, we were able to track the evolution of Alex’s psycho spiritual dynamics through the different stages of this important life-changing experience. |
