Document Details : Title: De potscherf in het woestijnzand Subtitle: Hans Faverey: beeld en beeldvorming Author(s): DERA, Jeroen Journal: Spiegel der Letteren Volume: 54 Issue: 4 Date: 2012 Pages: 459-489 DOI: 10.2143/SDL.54.4.2179599 Abstract : Taking its departure from recent theories concerning authorship, in particular Meizoz’s concept of posture, this article discusses the literary identity of the Dutch poet Hans Faverey. Analyzing both Faverey’s interviews and his poetry, it appears that his posture contains three basic elements: an autonomous aspect, a referential aspect and a singular aspect. When confronted with the reception history of Faverey’s poetry, the autonomous and referential aspect of Faverey’s posture seem to have interacted with the image of the poet, while critics have given little attention to the singular aspect. |
