Danneels The Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels, Cardinal Godfried Danneels, has been a close and attentive observer of INTAMS’ initiative which he has encouraged from its beginning in 1989. Having assisted to all INTAMS’ Colloquia, he described, during the first Symposium in 1994, the difficult, but indispensable task of this intitiative as being located on the cross-road between different disciplines and kind of reflections. In the interview which he gave to Intams Review he shares his reflection on several aspects of marital spirituality, such as: a catechumenate of marriage and love, the future role of married couples within society and Church, the different vocations in the Church and their relationship, God’s will and the choice of the right partner, divorce and remarriage. |
