The exhibit, and its accompanying catalogue, is a collection of paintings reflecting the evolving depiction of the married couple and the family throughout 20th century Italy. It provides an interesting index to the changing role of the family in this country. The catalogue includes commentary essays by writers such as Claudio Strinati, Alessandra Maria Sette, and Paul Ginsborg. |
