Kr.), verlaten de Kelten een tweede keer hun stamgebieden (Beieren, Bohemen en de Champagnestreek), palmen omstreeks 470 v. Kr. de Ardennen en het Franse binnenland in en bereiken tegen het einde van de 5de eeuw o.a. ook het Iberisch schiereiland en wellicht vervolgens Brittannië. The names ending with -(i)ācum in the North of the Roman Province Gallica Belgica, Chronological, Ethnolinguistical and Other Aspects After a first expansion, archaeologically determinable as the Hallstatt Period (8th-7th Century BC), the Celts leave for a second time their tribal areas (Bavaria, Bohemes and the Champagne-region) and settle down in the Ardennes and the central part of France. They reach, probably by the end of the 5th century, the Iberic peninsula and Brittanny. |
