Document Details : Title: The Anthologie of Parisinus gr. 852 and Vatopediou 36 and its Relation to the Florilegium Coisliniamun Author(s): MAKSIMCZUK, José Journal: Revue des Études Byzantines Volume: 76 Date: 2018 Pages: 99-136 DOI: 10.2143/REB.76.0.3285518 Abstract : Manuscripts Parisinus graecus 852 (10th c.), Athous, Vatopediou 36 (11th c.), Venetus Marcianus graecus Z 507 (12th c.) and Parisinus graecus 1555A (13th-14th c.) transmit a short compilation (Anth. Par.) which somehow relates to the alphabetical anthology known as Florilegium coislinianum (Flor. Coisl.). A textual analysis of the four witnesses of the Anth. Par. shows that two recensions of this anthology have come down to us. A comparative study of the texts of the Anth. Par. and the Flor. Coisl. reveals that a large section of the former depends on the Coislin anthology. Coisl. |
