Document Details : Title: Une statue saïte d'un prêtre de la province de l'Occident Author(s): PERDU, Olivier Journal: Revue d'Égyptologie Volume: 42 Date: 1991 Pages: 183-187 DOI: 10.2143/RE.42.0.2011295 Abstract : Publication of a fragmentary statue of the beginning of the 26th dynasty representing a kneeling man who proffers a figure of a standing goddess. After some comments about the priestly titles (rnp and ḥpt-wd3t) held by the owner, Wennefer, and his father Ankh-Hor, an origin of the monument in the western Delta et Kom Firin is proposed. In that case the female image would be Sekhmet, the major deity of this town. |
