Document Details : Title: Konfessionen Subtitle: Bekenntnis und Biographie Author(s): PAUL, Teresa Journal: Journal of the European Society of Women in Theological Research Volume: 4 Date: 1996 Pages: 96-102 DOI: 10.2143/ESWTR.4.0.2002998 Abstract : Teresa Paul's article deals with catholic or protestant affiliation as a relevant difference among women/feminist theologians. The different biographical and structural situation has its focal point in the question of ordained ministry/priesthood. The admission of protestant women to the pastorate brings them into a position of being officially commissioned as representative of the church and of being agent/subject of liturgical acts. Teresa Paul argues that - confronted with the ban from Rome - it is the more important for catholic feminist theology to reflect on the question of admission of women to the priesthood. |
