Pleine Marge

Pleine Marge is an international scholarly and cultural journal published biannually. The summary describing the orientation of each issue is presented in four languages (French, English, Spanish and German). Because of its non-dogmatic editorial policy, the journal attracts important literary and critical texts as well as illustrated commentaries on significant works of art. For the past twenty years, the revue has questioned the surrealist and other avant-garde movements that characterize Modernity.

Pleine Marge publishes:

- original literary works by French and foreign authors, often in a bi-lingual format,
- critical essays on writers and artists from all over the world,
- dossiers on the contributions of visual artists from very diverse backgrounds, illustrated by color reproductions.

The journal’s academic contributions of critical texts come from scholars and specialists within and outside university circles in Europe, North and South America and Japan. Jacqueline Chénieux Gendron edits and publishes Pleine Marge with the support from the CNRS (the French National Center for Scientific Research) and from the Center National du Livre (the [French] National Center for the book).

Pleine Marge is a peer-reviewed journal.
