The event of God is something that cannot simply be spoken of in the mode of 'archival knowledge'. Instead, God happens in many voices and in many different accents. Community is necessary if this 'happening of God’s self' is to be understood and expressed in many ways. A new form of 'spiritual theology' is therefore necessary. Over-flowing with experience and rooted in the concrete lives of women, this can speak of and with God in such a way that others are comforted, supported and fed. The patriarchy is a narrowing and a warping of prophetic speech; it has not yet been overcome. Prophetic words uttered by post-modern women must therefore make clear the fullness and the promise which can lie in the relationship to transcendence. In other words, they speak of God in such a way that God can be understood as 'a constant surprise'. Dans leur pratique liturgique, les femmes cherchent des espaces leur permettant d’attendre le Divin en communauté. Dieu est un événement dont on ne peut parler comme on parle d’un savoir livres que, voire 'archivistique', mais un événement à plusieurs voix, comportant différents accents. Il est besoin de la communauté pour comprendre ce qu’est cet événement et ce qui advient, et pouvoir l’exprimer dans la diversité. Il est donc besoin d’une nouvelle forme de 'théologie spirituelle' qui, rassasiée d’expérience et reliée à la vie concrète des femmes, pourra parler 'de Dieu' de manière à enconsoler d’autres, à les réconforter et à les nourrir. Le patriarcat est un rétrécissement et une déformation du discours prophétique, et n’est pas encore surmonté. C’est pourquoi les paroles prophétiques prononcées par les femmes postmodernes doivent mettre en valeur le bénéfice et les perspectives contenus, sous ce rapport, dans la transcendance. Autrement dit, elles parlent de Dieu de manière à ce que Dieu soit compris comme une constante surprise ('a constant surprise'). |
