Abstract :
The letters in the Pauline corpus whose authenticity is undisputed tend to have relatively more first person singular verbs and pronouns than do the letters whose authenticity is disputed. By documenting this claim, this note offers quantitative measurements of aspects of the “egocentricity” of these letters.
