Abstract :
Almost ten years after the change of regime the law on religious freedom issues seems to be settled in Hungary. The accord on financial issues signed in the Vatican between the Holy See and Hungary, as well as the law on the financial conditions of Church activities that was passed subsequently can be seen as major steps signalling the end of a transition concerning funding that has proved to be one of the most sensitive areas of Church-State relations.
