In our times more than perhaps in any other period of her two thousand-year history, the Catholic Church pays special attention to her relationship with other religions. Such interreligious contacts are manifested in association at the level of daily life, social projects promoted with followers of other religions, exchange of religious experience and dialogue of doctrinal discourse.
