Abstract :
These short remarks present material from Gorgippia (Anapa region) only recently come to light. This area was inhabited by the local Sindians. Emerging patterns suggest the existence of designated areas for Greeks in centres of the local population from the start of Greek colonisation. Such quarters may be identified as ‘emporia’.
