Censé rendre compte de la spécificité de l’existence humaine, à la fois ancrée dans la nature mais dotée d’une historicité propre, ce concept reste travaillé par une tension irrésolue entre la conscience qu’il présuppose et l’anthropogénèse dont il devrait rendre raison. À partir d’une lecture comparative de deux esquisses anthropologiques de Marx et du chapitre de Phénoménologie et matérialisme dialectique consacré au «mouvement du sens externe», il s’agit ici d’interpréter le projet de Trần Đức Thảo comme une tentative pour clarifier les rapports entre la conscience et le comportement productif. Ni simplement cause, ni simplement effet de l’émergence d’une conscience, la production apparaît alors comme une étape de la genèse différenciée des formes de conscience. However central it is to Marxism, the concept of production is nonetheless one of the blind spots in Marx. While the concept is supposed to account for the specificity of human existence, which is embedded in nature, but at the same time endowed with its own historicity, it remains laboured by an unresolved tension between the consciousness it presupposes and the anthropogenesis it should account for. Setting out from a comparative reading of two of Marx’s anthropological sketches and the chapter in Phenomenology and Dialectical Materialism devoted to «movement of the external sense» the aim here is to interpret the project of Trần Đức Thảo as an attempt to clarify the relations between consciousness and productive behaviour. Production is neither the cause nor simply the effect of the emergence of a consciousness, but appears to be a stage in the differentiated genesis of forms of consciousness. |
