Document Details : Title: 'Van de Nieuwe Titel der bundel heb ik nota genomen' Subtitle: De betrokkenheid van Rudy Kousbroek bij de analphabetische naam van Lucebert Author(s): DE FEIJTER, Anja Journal: Spiegel der Letteren Volume: 61 Issue: 2 Date: 2019 Pages: 131-159 DOI: 10.2143/SDL.61.2.3287335 Abstract : In this article the correspondence of Lucebert and Rudy Kousbroek dating from the year 1951 is investigated in order to establish the involvement of Kousbroek in the production of the collection the inalphabetic name by Lucebert. The assertions of Hazeu that Kousbroek more or less edited the collection and determined the title of it, are not corroborated by the facts. The intention of Lucebert and Kousbroek to produce a collection the inalphabetic name in the so called Braak-series have been thwarted by the plans of Stols and Vinkenoog to produce the anthology atonaal. The impasse in the edition of his poetry causes a crisis with Lucebert. The investigation of the correspondence with Kousbroek further delivers important data concerning the dating of the collection apocryphal / the inalphabetic name. Specific poems that are highlighted hereby are ‘exodus’ and ‘the experimental poem’. |
