This article explores the reasons that lead scholars like Thackeray, Barthélemy, Shenkel and Wirth to accept or reject 2 Samuel 10 as part of the καίγε section and offers an evaluation of the current status of the research on the subject. The analysis of the relevant text-critical evidence leads to the conclusion that 2 Samuel 10 should be considered part of the καίγε section. |
