This sermon is only preserved in MS. Antwerp, Ruusbroecgenootschap, neerl. 37. The occasion of the sermon is All Souls Day. The listeners are urged to help the ‘poor little souls’ in purgatory. It also lashes in a passage scholars from Louvain, who gave a lame answer to a theological question of the preacher. |
