The article proposes to look for the cultural background of that Enochic tradition in the context of the Late Babylonian temple with its large and skilled workforce used for the upkeep of the cultic, economic and military activity. The Aramaic terminology found in 1 En. 6:8 and 8:1 properly corresponds to what we now know about the functioning of the artisans within the context of the Late Babylonian temple. En 1 Hénoch 8,1, Asaël, l’un des anges déchus, enseigne à l’humanité l’art du métal, des pierres précieuses et l’usage des minéraux et des teintures. L’article examine l’arrière-plan culturel de la tradition hénochique dans le contexte des temples babyloniens tardifs, avec leur nombreux personnel pour en maintenir l’activité multiforme. La terminologie araméenne en 1 Hén. 6,8 et 8,1 correspond à ce que nous connaissons des artisans des temples babyloniens tardifs. |
