Il explique ainsi pourquoi l’Église orientale le déclara canonique plus précocement que l’Église latine. Taking up again the hypothesis that Heb 13:19, 22-25 was originally a covering letter for a sermon delivered sometime in the 70s, this article suggests that Heb was a text that originated in Rome, and which the church of Alexandria accepted as Pauline in the second century. It thus explains why Heb was accepted as canonical in the Eastern Church much earlier than in the Western Church. |
