Pourtant, les textes proto-chrétiens témoignent d’une telle coexistence jusqu’au milieu du IIe siècle. Cet article identifie deux trajectoires rapportées dans ces écrits et il propose une explication des sens que le terme euaggelion y a acquis. Il montre aussi que chacune de ces trajectoires s’est développée dans un contexte différent (en terre d’Israël et dans la diaspora) qui a déterminé la compréhension de ce mot-clé du sociolecte chrétien. The study of the term euaggelion, from a purely diachronic or evolutionary perspective, has not help ed to fully perceive the co-existence of the different meanings ascribed to the word by the early disciples of Jesus. However, the proto-Christian texts show this co-existence until the mid 2nd Century. This article identifies two trajectories reflected in these writings and offers an explanation of the meaning which the term acquires in them. The article also aims to show that each of these trajectories evolved in a different context (in the land of Israel, and in the Diaspora) which in turn determined the understanding of this keyword of the Christian sociolect. |
