Private houses as well as public buildings have been excavated. In addition, a Roman cemetery has been discovered, with numerous monumental tombs of different type. The monumental public structures in particular, among which are a theatre or odeion and a bathhouse, are evidence of a prosperous Roman city, that can be identified as the town Panormos. |
