Abstract :
The first part of this article presents newly identified evidence for the locution ‘Osiris of NN’, used to designate deceased individuals, in sources of the Third Intermediate Period. The second part presents the earliest known example of another locution used specifically to designate deceased women, ‘Hathor of NN’. This dates to the Third Intermediate Period as well.
