There needs to be a new weighting of the fact that human beings come into the world through relationships and their actions in the world are also based on relationships. The paradigm of natality involves more than talking about birth as a theological locus. What is at stake is our whole anthropological, ontological, metaphysical and political self-understanding. The anthropology of natality leads to a reconstruction of the way we understand human freedom and relatedness. La valoración de las relaciones humanas y los conceptos de convivencia y política dependen de la importancia que se atribuya a la natalidad (Gebürtigkeit). Así pues, cabe un replanteamiento de los mismos desde la idea de que los seres humanos vienen al mundo y actúan en él a través de las relaciones. Al hablar del paradigma de la natalidad, no nos referimos tan sólo al nacimiento como lugar teológico. Se trata más bien de la conciencia subjetiva en su totalidad, desde un punto de vista antropológico, ontológico, metafísico y político. La antropología de la natalidad nos lleva a reconstruir nuestra forma de entender la libertad y la conexión humana. |
