Abstract :
Nothing of the regalia of the kings of Israel and Judah has been preserved. A few possible royal tombs were pointed out in the capital cities Samaria and Jerusalem, but even if correctly identified, these tombs were robbed and emptied in antiquity. All the same, excavations in Israel, including Samaria and Jerusalem, and in its neighbouring countries, have yielded much jewellery, and these finds are briefly discussed.
