Our efforts were aimed at resolving outstanding chronological problems, examining significant historical issues, and illuminating the relationship of the environment to settlement in the various periods under investigation. This paper will address these issues and serve to update the reader on current discoveries, as well as changes in our thinking that have taken place in recent years. |
