The object in the centre of the scene Kom Ombo 950 can be interpreted as a schematized map of the Nile valley, representing the offered wḏɜ.t eye. An allusion to the wḏɜ.t eye appears a second time by the total of the additional mentioned fractions. §12. With regards to the contents it is possible to attribute the composition of the 'decree of Re' preserved at Edfu and Philæ (Edfou II, 13 + Duemichen, Geogr. Inschr. 2, 58, 59) to the time of the saite dynasty. |
