La description de la constitution du «sujet» telle que Chrétien la formule prend ses racines dans l’élucidation de la notion d’appel. Pour l’auteur, le «sujet» apparaît comme une identité qui est forgée par l’appel de l’autre. C’est à un appel, médiatisé par la parole, qu’il revient de provoquer dans le «moi» une blessure, lieu de la formation du «soi» en tant que tel. The aim of this article is to present Jean-Louis Chrétien’s conception of “subject”. His description of the constitution of the “subject” has its origin in the notion of call. For him, the “subject” appears like an identity which is formed by the other’s call. It is a call that is carried by the word which produces a wound in the ego, where the self is formatted in itself.
