After a first reading of the text and a consideration of its context, the second part will investigate two other Pauline passages that also deal with life and death. In the third part we will ask how Paul speaks of life after death. In the fourth part we return to Rom14:7-9 and discuss Paul's surprising mode of reasoning within these three verses. The final part will offer some brief summary conclusions. |
