Abstract :
An until now “hidden” funerary slab in the stores of the British Museum, with the Inv.Nr. 69032 deserves our attention, not at least because of the name and the titles of the deceased. Although the monument has been seriously damaged – at least half of the stone has been broken off – the remaining part clearly reveals a masterpiece of stone-cutting art in christian Egypt.
