Se basant sur des traits physiques et psychologiques, les Afghans, excellents observateurs, ont établi une véritable typologie des chauves. Même la poésie populaire leur consacre une place non négligeable. On en arrive ainsi à une véritable définition anthropologique de «la valeur du cheveu vs calvitie». In Afghanistan, as nearly everywhere in the world, the bald-headed (kal) and the long-haired (por-mū-y), like the bearded (rīš-dār) and the one who wears only a thinly sown beard (kōsa), are at the origin of several representations: it seems to be useful to go round them in order to have a better understanding of the many allusions and the popular jokes they are the subject of. Basing their judgment on physical and psychological features, the Afghans who are excellent observers have made out a true typology of the bald-headed. Even popular poetry offers them a rather important place. Thus one gets to a real anthropological definition of «the value of the hair vs baldness». |
