Given Betz's status in the scholarly community, the fact that his essays on the Sermon on the Mount have now been collected in a single volume, and the circumstance that he is currently working on a commentary on the Sermon on the Mount for the Hermeneia series, it is opportune to submit some of his more controversial propositions to clo scrutiny. |
