Le nombreuses traductions françaises en cours de textes importants de cette période de la pensée schellingienne, ainsi que l'édition de nouveaux documents - journal personnel de Schelling et notes de cours - appellent une reprise de l'interrogation sur les grands enjeux de cette ultime épopée de l'idéalisme allemand. Schelling, en effet, cherche une voie nouvelle, au-delà du transcendantalisme de conscience de soi et de l'empirisme mystique inhérent à toute philosophie de l'Esprit. Sa philosophie voudrait même s'ouvrir à une mesure de la liberté qui inscrive celle-ci dans une temporalité originaire et absolue, corps doxique de la Vie créatrice. Schelling's final philosophy has remained only slightly or badly known up to present ue to its incomplete state and the complexity of the epistemological model that the author was attempting to perfect, in order to overcome the lacunae in the tradition in regard to the question of the first principles of existence and their relationship to an absolute source of life. The numerous French translations at present being undertaken of important texts from this period of Schelling's thought and the publication of new documents - Schelling's personal diary and lecture's notes - call for a fresh inquiry into the major cruxes in this final epic of German idealism. Indeed, Schelling seeks a new way, beyond the transcendentalism of the consciousness of self and the mystical empiricism inherent in any philosophy of Spirit. Hi philosophy seeks even to open itself to a degree of the freedom which places the latter in an original and absolute temporality, a doxic body of creative Life. |
