Cet article tente d’éclairer la nature précise du débat et de montrer que la situation de la microphysique, contrairement à ce que l’on croit souvent, n’a pas d’implications négatives directes sur le réalisme scientifique. The philosophical controversy about scientific realism, raised by the first scientific theories about the structure of matter, has come to life again in this century in regard to the conceptual and theoretical problems associated with microphysics. The present article attempts to clarify the precise nature of the debate and to show that the situation of microphysics, contrary to what is often thought, has no direct negative implications for the scientific realist standpoint. |
