Abstract :

Setting out from a brief analysis of the thought on analogy proper to K. Rahner and E. Przywara, the A. attempts to grasp the fundamental principles of the construction of the concept of examplary identity in G. Siewerth, the elaboration of which is clearly distinct from that of the authors aforementioned. Based on the necessity of rooting the logical in the real, Siewerth’s analogy is capable, by affirming on the one hand the non-reality of being and on the other hand the effectiveness of the latter in its relationship to God, to emphasize the cul-de-sacs as well as the correct perspectives of transcendental Thomism and of Przywara’s analogy. Thus Siewerth thinks the positivity of the analogy of attribution, while maintaining the essential difference brought about by the analogy of proportionality.
