This article discusses the Hebrew vocabulary used in the story of the cannibal women and their judgment before the helpless king (II Kgs. 6:26 ff.). The use of specific words, also used to point to God, give an deeper meaning to the story. The author tries to find out the precise meaning of the story and its components.
