Abstract :
It is well known that al-Ghazālī refers to IBn Sīnā's philosophy either as a source of his résumé of the doctrines of the philosophers or as an object of refutation. However, as some scholars have proved, he was influenced by the very philosophy he summed up and criticized. That Greek philosophy has exerted an influence on al-Ghazālī is attested in the works of the later Muslim doctors and demonstrated by modern scholars
