But in our modern and pluralistic age, on the other hand, we know that attempts to do away with a religion through aggressive mission or da'wah strategies have failed, and the arrogant and triumphalist rule of one religion over other religions is nearly dead. Instead, all over the world, there is a growing awareness that adherents of different religions must come together in peaceful co-existence and in mutual respect and readiness for dialogue. |
