Contemplative Prayer can offer insights as to why jealousy can turn destructive and homicidal. Clinging to the false self is a primary source of intense feelings of jealousy. As the Holy Spirit shows people the difference between the false self and their true self, the intensity of jealous can be decreased as compassion increases. |
