This occurred at a time when the return or an exclusivist ecclesiology was ruling in the West. The article scrutinizes the beginnings of the Albanian Greek Catholic Church from 1886 until 1929, the year when the first Greek Catholic Church of Albania was dedicated. It also offers some interpretative and comparative reflections on the specific role of the union movement in Albanian national politics. |
