Abstract :
Being a Coptic emigrant in the 'West' raises questions about which life-style to adopt. The Coptic Orthodox clergy give advise to emigrants concerning several matters and try to preserve faith amongst the emigrants as they face typically 'western challenges' such as cohabitation of unmarried couples and abortion. A recent phenomenon is the clergy's use of the internet: a fascinating idea for one of the oldest churches in the world!
