Abstract :
The five fragments (a-e) of P.Tebt. UC 1589-1591 edited here preserve a copy of one or more documents related to a judicial procedure about a misdemeanor regarding cattle and taxation. The handwriting is close to that of Menches, the komogrammateus of Kerkeosiris. The text certainly belongs to the archive of the komogrammateis of that village and provides a new attestation of an eisagogeus: it is now almost certain that Sarapion son of Dionysios was eisagogeus of the chrematistai in the capital of the Arsinoite nome, Krokodilopolis, in the late second century BCE.
