Abstract :
The author studies the set of silver and bronze vessels from tomb III of the Zelenskoi Tumulus, as well as some of the metal vessels and jewellery from the burials of the Karagodeuashkh Tumulus. The concentration of metal objects of allegedly North Greek (Macedonian) manufacture in the two tumuli in the Asian part of the Bosporan Kingdom is remarkable. This may be explained either as a result of gift exchange, as was probably the case with the objects found in Karagodeuashkh, or as the personal belongings of a mercenary once in service in north Greece and then in the Kingdom of Bosporus (Zelenskoi Tumulus).
