Der folgende Artikel zeichnet die jüngeren Entwicklungen in der philosophischen Gotteslehre nach, legt das apologetische, aber auch das religionskritische Potenzial einer philosophischen und spekulativ-metaphysischen Gotteslehre offen und fragt, ob die Philosophie derzeit nicht eher eine Methodik als einen zustimmungsfähigen Gottesbegriff für die Theologie anzubieten hat. Skizziert werden entlang dieser Fragestellungen Debatten zu den Eigenschaften Gottes, zum Gott-Welt-Verhältnis und zur Zuträglichkeit einer rein theoretischen Annäherung an die Gottesfrage. Is the God of the philosophers in harmony with the God of faith? The following article traces recent developments in philosophical thinking about God, reveals apologetic intent, but also the potential of a philosophical and speculative-metaphysical doctrine of God for being critical of religion, and asks whether philosophy does not currently have a methodology rather than an acceptable concept of God to offer theology. Along these lines, the article outlines debates on the attributes of God, the relationship between God and the world, and the acceptability of a purely theoretical approach to the question of God. Le Dieu des philosophes est-il en harmonie avec le Dieu de la foi? L’article suivant retrace les développements récents de la pensée philosophique sur Dieu. Il révèle l’intention apologétique, mais aussi le potentiel d’une doctrine philosophique et d’une métaphysique spéculative-de Dieu pour critiquer la religion. Il pose la question de savoir si la philosophie n’a pas actuellement une méthodologie à offrir à la théologie plutôt qu’un concept de Dieu susceptible d’être approuvé. En ce sens, l’article retrace les débats sur les attributs de Dieu, la relation entre Dieu et le monde, et la pertinence d’une approche purement théorique de la question de Dieu. |
